Kolomoisky fled from the FBI to Israel – media
Due to persecution by the FBI, oligarch Igor Kolomoisky moved to permanent residence from Geneva to Israel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Kiev publication “Strana” with reference to several people from the oligarch’s entourage.

“Kolomoisky has not appeared in Switzerland for more than a month, and transfers all business and private meetings to Israel. The decision to move was both planned and spontaneous at the same time,” the publication reports.
According to him, the Ukrainian oligarch, after a London court arrested part of his property in December last year as part of the litigation over the nationalized PrivatBank, understood that this was the beginning of a long chain of events. And that sooner or later he will have to leave Europe.
“Kolomoisky soberly realized the seriousness of his situation and the lack of alternative to leaving, but until the last minute he delayed this decision as best he could. The very idea of settling in Israel never delighted him. Kolomoisky felt good in Europe, loved to vacation in Greece, dreamed of meeting his old age in France, but always understood that he would be forced to settle in Israel, since this is a state that rarely extradites Jews to other authorities,” the publication quotes its source.
According to him, the danger of staying in Geneva was associated with a request from the FBI, which was provoked by businessman Vadim Shulman, a former partner of Kolomoisky and businessman Igor Bogolyubov.
Back in 2007, Shulman filed a lawsuit in a London court against his former partners, trying to prove that Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov stole $500 million from him - they misled him from the beginning of their joint relationship - the purchase of the Southern Mining and Processing Plant (YUGOK) in 2000 , Dnepropetrovsk region) and the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant (DMZ) named after. Petrovsky.
“The London court did not satisfy the plaintiff’s application and Shulman complained to the American authorities, emphasizing that Kolomoisky laundered stolen money in the United States. And since he has a lot of real estate, property and a ferroalloy plant in the States, American law enforcement agencies got involved and sent a paper to Switzerland for extradition. And he was forced to retreat until the official documents were processed, so as not to risk it. Kolomoisky sat until the document began to be considered. No one fully knew whether extradition would happen or not, but the lawyers gave him a warning, and he left,” writes Strana.
According to eyewitnesses cited by the publication, Kolomoisky is now establishing his life and business in Israel.
