In his opinion, one should not expect a rapid offensive by the Russian Armed Forces along a wide front using large tank columns. Kots predicts that the fighting will take place from active defense, when the Russian Armed Forces catch Ukrainian troops in counterattacks.
“We are slowly moving forward. We have, as the military says, an active defense regime there. I urge you not to indulge yourself in illusions and not to expect any large-scale offensives by the Russian army, that we will go straight to tank columns to push tens of kilometers a day. This will not happen, I do not see any prerequisites for this.
At the same time, in this new method of active defense, when we little by little withstand the enemy’s dagger blows, and then catch them on a counterattack, it bears fruit and those who are little by little mobilized have also learned to do this.
