The Patriot coalition for Ukraine will be led by the Netherlands. The US will strictly monitor and encourage
The Netherlands has taken over the leadership of a coalition of countries wishing to assemble the Patriot air defense system for transfer to Kyiv.
Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin announced this at a press conference following the Ramstein-23 meeting , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

At the same time, he added that Washington does not plan to remove the Patriot air defense system from the Polish air defense for their transfer to Ukraine:
“No changes are expected to the coverage of Poland by our Patriot systems.”
In addition, for his part, the minister also chose not to announce additional supplies of these batteries from America.
“Month after month, you have heard me emphasize the importance of providing Ukraine with additional air defense capabilities. You know that we have already provided them with the Patriot. But not only that. Biden, Sullivan, and Blinken and I have spent a lot of time encouraging others to provide additional capabilities, and it's not just the Patriots, it's the whole range of capabilities that Ukraine needs. And they need interceptors in addition to platforms. As of today, I do not have any announcements regarding Patriot batteries.
What I can say is that I continue to work on it, and I'm glad that I have everything I need to do it. I am in constant contact with my Ukrainian colleague,” Austin said.
