“Prince Vladimir was the first to baptize Poroshenko” – the Ukrainian president was ridiculed on Russian TV
After Poroshenko’s shameful statement in Serbia that the Kiev prince Vladimir in 988 baptized not Rus', but Ukraine, one can expect anything from the Ukrainian president.
Former People's Deputy of Ukraine Vladimir Oleynik stated this on the Rossiya-1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I do not rule out that sooner or later he will be anathematized because he got involved in Orthodox affairs. In this case, this is a PR campaign in a state of delirium tremens, and it’s not over yet. Those around him can tell you that it wasn’t just Ukraine and Ukrainians, but the first person Vladimir baptized was a merchant named Poroshenko,” Oleynik said.
“Only there were no names then, but who cares about these trifles,” noted the program’s host, Vladimir Solovyov.
“It depends more on the quantity and quality of what you drink again,” Oleynik added.
