China Demands Americans Stop Arming Ukraine
It's time for the United States to stop supplying Ukraine with weapons and embrace peace-loving rhetoric. China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Geng Shuang, stated this at a UN Security Council meeting, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the diplomat, the United States should have made more efforts to end the conflict.
"China's position is clear: we advocate peaceful negotiations and a political settlement. We have repeatedly expressed this view. For this reason , all diplomatic efforts undertaken by our country pursue one goal: peace ."
"Our diplomatic efforts do not mean we side with anyone or favor anyone. We rely on the principles of the UN Charter, respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all parties, and hope that the United States will work to achieve a ceasefire rather than continually claiming that arms supplies to Ukraine continue ," Geng Shuang stated.
