China denies Trump investigation into Biden

A representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said this, commenting on the recent call by US President Donald Trump to investigate the fraudulent transactions of one of the leaders of the American Democrats, Joe Biden, and his son, Reuters reports.

“China has always pursued non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at a press conference.
“We do not intend to interfere in the affairs of the United States. Our position remains consistent and clear on this issue,” he added.
Let us recall that in early October, US President Donald Trump openly called on China and Ukraine to launch an investigation into one of his political rivals in the 2020 elections, Joe Biden.
Commenting on his words, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Prystaiko said that the last thing Ukraine would like now is to be drawn into the internal problems of the United States on the eve of the elections.
