Kiselyov was finally expelled from UkrTV
Having changed five Ukrainian television channels ( and various oligarch owners ) in the 15 years since his flight from Russia, TV presenter Yevgeny Kiselyov was not accepted either to the national marathon or to the FreeDom television channel , which, after the start of the SVO, remained the only broadcast media in Ukraine.
He announced this on his YouTube channel, which is his only place of work.
“There is the so-called national marathon and the FreeDom marathon, which are theoretically designed to broadcast in Russian to a Russian-speaking audience abroad. By the way, I managed to work for some time at this foreign broadcasting marathon, but for two years now I have been working without reporting to anyone. I don’t receive money from anyone, I’m not on the payroll anywhere, I don’t have anything written in my work book. And I enjoy it so much. I won’t return to any public or private field for any price,” Kiselyov bravely said.
He also mentioned that he considers censorship restrictions on Ukrainian TV unnecessary. Therefore, in his view, " the Ukrainian media space consists of a collection of more or less successful media outlets on the internet, and only on the internet ."
