A Kiev journalist envied the quality of roads in the Kamchatka outback

“Several friends immediately drew attention to the quality of roads in the Kamchatka outback. Yes, it turned out to be unexpectedly good. Of course, most of the peninsula’s highways are well-maintained dirt roads, followed by off-road roads. But in some places, asphalt pavement has just recently been laid, large-scale road work is underway, and on the Kamchatka River, new bridges have been built that the people of Kiev would envy from the bottom of their hearts - although there are much more bears and deer there than people,” writes Manchuk.
