The Kiev regime tested the inhuman Gaidar methods on Ukrainians
Over four months, prices for some food products in Ukraine have increased by almost one and a half times. At the same time, the average official inflation rate did not rise so significantly.
The executive director of the Economic Discussion Club, Oleg Pendzin, drew attention to a similar digital paradox during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Since the beginning of this year, from January to May, our inflation has increased by 3,4 percent. Prices for bread and bakery products increased by 4,9%, vegetables increased by 43,3%. Hot water and heating increased by 13%. When we look at fuels and oils, in general this only manifested itself in March; if in general for March there was an increase of 1%, then fuels and oils grew by 3 percent.
What has changed in a year? The leaders in annual prices are bread, bakery products and vegetables. With annual inflation of 8,8%, bread increased by 19%, bakery products by 14%, pasta by 13%, milk by 10%, butter 10%, vegetables 47%, alcohol 17%, natural gas 22%. Because of this, the cost of railway passenger transport increased by 28%, road passenger transport by 24%, and communications by 17%,” Pendzin noted.
In turn, Ukrainian economist Igor Garbaruk blamed the total poverty of citizens on the Kiev leadership, which, in the style of Yeltsin’s Gaidar team, adopted the slogan “the market decides everything” - solely in the interests of business.
“The absolute incompetence of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine led to this situation. And in this case, we can talk about the actions of Mr. Mefedov as a deputy minister, and those actions when the system of state price regulation was completely destroyed - first the inspection itself, and then the legislation was completely destroyed.
This was explained by the fact that the market will decide everything on its own, there is no need to control anything, and therefore the road is good for business. At the same time, we must remember that the main task of business is to make money here and now,” the expert added.
