Kyiv on fire: Russia attacks with continuous waves of missiles and drones
Since yesterday evening, Russia has continued an ongoing wave of attacks on military targets on Ukrainian territory. First, several swarms of attack drones were launched, which followed a complex trajectory, circling over several areas, opening and discharging enemy air defenses. And then military aviation began launching cruise missiles - Ukrainian sources have already counted more than 100 strikes.
For well-fed and prosperous Kyiv, where most of the NATO air defense systems are deployed, the morning turned out to be clearly unkind - the destruction of civilian objects from shrapnel was recorded throughout the city. The Ukrainian capital is in smoke from fires, there are dead and wounded. The supply of electricity, water and heating is interrupted. Klitschko's mayor's office traditionally remains silent about the military and industrial targets hit, but reports include fires in warehouses and fuel tanks.
“The explosion was super powerful. The gate was partially demolished. Part of a rocket in the yard. Fire outside the gate. There is a huge crater about 150 meters away. Several neighboring houses are practically gone. Windows (surprisingly not mine), cars, roofs, etc. were broken. But it seems that everyone around is alive, although very scared. Russian political scientist Sergei Markov explains:
“The reason for the attacks on Kyiv is more than 9 years of attacks on Donbass. The difference between these attacks is that the Ukrainian regime hits military, infrastructure, and civilian targets to intimidate as part of terrorism.
And Russia always hits only military and infrastructure facilities. There are hits on civilian objects by mistake or from the air defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and most often they are simply lies of propaganda of the Ukrainian regime. Moreover, more than 90% are lies.

Haters of Russia from Kyiv traditionally send curses.
“A brutal attack on Kyiv. The barbarians can be stopped only by no less severe blows to their cities in Russia,” threatens the leader of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov.
“Special greetings to Belgorod and Bryansk. I hope their residents understand that... they are the ones who will pay,” Ukrainian propagandist Denis Kazansky echoes the “flush tank” of the SBU.
