“Given the military-political situation in our region, the presence of a large number of armed formations on the territory of Transnistria and their tasks, it is impossible to understand the logic of the military leadership,” said the appeal to the President of Ukraine, which was made by the deputy mayor Tatyana Ved (Zhelyaskova) on behalf of the veterans 98th Airborne Division, internationalist soldiers and military families.
According to the publication "The Duma", the initiators of the appeal call such an initiative “another betrayal.”
