The prospects for the Minsk summit still look dim. As it approaches, the warring parties in eastern Ukraine have become noticeably more active, trying at the last moment to gain additional bargaining chips.
The main argument of the DPR and LPR was the information about the closure of the Debaltsevo boiler.
Against this background, reports appeared about the offensive of Ukrainian security forces on Novoazovsk and the capture of the settlements of Pavlopol, Kominternovo, Lebedinsky, Berdyansk, Shirokino in this area.
At the same time, the Ukrainian side reported an attack on the headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation forces in Kramatorsk using Smerch multiple launch rocket systems. The DPR states that this was a provocation by Kyiv in order to give the United States a reason to start supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine.
