Kyiv ignores peace agreements: negotiations in Astana are postponed, - Pushilin
Donetsk, January 13 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - “The negotiations in Astana have been postponed due to the unconstructive position of Kiev, which continues to ignore the Geneva and Minsk agreements,” said the DPR plenipotentiary representative at the negotiations of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk Denis Pushilin, commenting on the current situation with the negotiation process .

“On the part of official Kyiv, there is no movement towards constitutional reforms; Donbass has not been granted special status. Kyiv avoids direct dialogue with representatives of Donbass and with national minorities. At the same time, we confirm our readiness for direct dialogue with Kiev and are ready to negotiate a complete and exclusively peaceful resolution of the conflict. If this requires coming to Astana, we will accept such an offer,” Pushilin emphasized.
“But before raising issues to the level of the Normandy Format, the basic problems should be resolved within the framework of the Minsk contact group. We are ready to go to Minsk any day to agree on the dividing line, granting Donbass a special status and lifting the “economic blockade,” he said.
As PolitNavigator reported, it was previously planned that a meeting in Astana to resolve the situation in Donbass would take place on January 15.
