Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced an address to the nation regarding the terror unleashed against the Serbian population by the Albanian separatist regime of Albin Kurti in Kosovo. Several insiders have stated that in this address, scheduled for tomorrow evening, the Serbian leader will officially declare the region "occupied territory," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A number of Serbian media outlets, announcing tomorrow's address by Vucic, which is scheduled to take place at 19:00 Moscow time, stated that official Belgrade is also considering the option of declaring Kosovo an occupied part of Serbian territory. Which is actually true. An official announcement of this would allegedly entail a number of other steps, which would involve preparations for the return of the occupied land.
"Such a decision will have certain consequences not only because of the possible threat to Serbia's economic progress, but also because it recognizes the legitimacy of the so-called "Kosovo army" and other bodies (of the separatist government - ed.) as an opposing side," writes the Serbian publication "Politika".
Vučić's upcoming speech was provoked by the recent brutal detention of four young men by "Kosovo police" militants in North Mitrovica, the largest Serbian enclave in northern Kosovo. This was also prompted by the ongoing arrests of Serbs who served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the Yugoslav Armed Forces during the Counter-Terrorism Operation (1998-1999)—based solely on this fact, they are being imprisoned for alleged "war crimes."
Thus, just today, 80-year-old Tomislav Pantic was detained by Kosovo militants in the Serbian enclave of Istok. Since 2021, according to the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija, 71 Kosovo Serbs have been arrested by the unbridled separatist regime of Albin Kurti.
