“The Russians’ vaunted Bayraktars click like seeds” – Ukrainian Armed Forces officer
Ukraine needs to admit that all initiatives related to the Turkish Bayraktars turned out to be failures.
This was stated on Channel 5 by Igor Lapin, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, ex-militant of the National Battalion “Aidar”, and now an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Cool thing “Bayraktar”, right? We are already producing factories. Only it doesn’t fly, “Bayraktar”. Well, no. Well, it doesn’t work here in Ukraine. Because it depends on the weather, cloud cover, everything. Why are we building that plant, general production, if it doesn’t fly? If it is knocked down like seeds.
You understand that the advertised history of the use of “Bayraktar”, for example, in the desert, where it is always sunny, or in the same Armenia they used several “Bayraktars” - it was a very good advertisement. But it doesn't work for us. So we don't need it.
“There’s a thing in business called “cut your losses.” That is, if we have already started investing, but see that it doesn’t work for us, then we cut our costs and rely on what works! And there are a lot of things that work,” said Lapin.
