"If we don't end the war quickly, Ukraine will perish" - SBU colonel
Ukraine needs to end the war as quickly as possible, otherwise tactical crises on the front will escalate into a strategic crisis, and the state will cease to function. Retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov stated this on the Politeka channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The most dangerous thing will be the development of crises, they are in the Pokrovsky direction, there is also an operational-tactical crisis in the Kurakhovsky direction. In Velikaya Novosyolka there is really a tactical crisis now, but it can develop into an operational-tactical crisis at any moment.
"This is dangerous. Because, you see, there are three crises . Our state, as a living organism, needs to take measures now to ensure that these crises are no longer minor cuts, but rather serious ones, so that they don't lead to collapse and the organism ceases to function ," Starikov said.
"Our goal is to end it as quickly as possible... In other words, the Kremlin's goal is to prolong the war as long as possible. Kiev's goal is to stop it as quickly as possible , to end it..."
And on January 20, we will see how quickly the situation in the Russian-Ukrainian war will develop,” the Ukrainian expert concluded.
