There will be no security guarantees for Ukraine at all – Arestovich
Ukraine will not receive NATO membership or other security guarantees from the West. This was stated by the former adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, who is abroad and has been included by the Russian Federation in the list of extremists and terrorists, Alexey Arestovich, on the air of the video blog of journalist Vasily Golovanov, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
According to Arestovich, Ukraine must develop a balanced policy and its own security.

" There will be no security guarantees for Ukraine at all – neither in NATO nor outside of NATO. For one simple reason : no country in the world will sign up for war with the Russian Federation in the event of a new attack on Ukraine.
What's possible for us? We can have bilateral cooperation with other countries, in the military sphere, in the military-industrial complex, as deep as you like, even if you combine our military-industrial complexes, but there will never be a guarantee that we will fight for you the second time you're attacked. The real guarantees of security for Ukraine are a balanced foreign policy and a maximally liberal domestic policy . There are no other guarantees, and there never will be," Arestovich stated.
