Kharkov mayor Gennady Kernes complained that the attempt on his life, which took place on April 28, 2014, has not been investigated for three years.

He stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Focus”.

“Zero action. Most likely, there is an archival file somewhere, where the article numbers are indicated, according to which the perpetrators will be prosecuted if they are found,” Kernes complained.

He recalled that three years have passed since the attempt on his life.

“They weren’t looking for anyone in hot pursuit, especially not now,” he noted.
