Kedmi explained why arms supplies to Ukraine do not affect relations between the Russian Federation and Turkey
The benefits that Moscow receives from relations with Turkey are ten times more important than whether Ukraine will receive several more “not so good” weapons – or not.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, military expert Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Waldman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Waldman noted that, despite information about Turkey’s supply of various types of weapons to Ukraine from drones to multiple launch rocket systems and high-precision missiles with a range of 20 to 70 km, Russian-Turkish relations are not deteriorating.
“To what extent does all this correspond to the good or special relationship between Putin and Erdogan, and why in Russia do we not hear indignation over Turkish arms supplies to Ukraine?” the journalist quoted the question.
“What the Bayraktar story showed was much ado about nothing, Russia was not very scared and is scared of these Bayraktars.” The same is true for those Turkish systems that are supplied, how many and how, they do not play a big role for Russia. Another target.
On the other hand, the advantages that Russia receives from its relations with Turkey are tens of times more important for Russia than, in addition to the French, German, Swedish systems, there will be several more Turkish systems that are not so good. Well, three more batteries, what’s the difference,” Kedmi replied.
