Podolyak’s case: Ukraine was forbidden to think about its state interests
For Ukraine, Washington produces managers for whom the interests of the United States are important first and foremost.
Viktor Medvedchuk, Chairman of the Council of the Other Ukraine Movement, writes about this in the article "What secret did the so-called adviser to Zelensky's office reveal," as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He recalls the diplomatic scandal that erupted after the following words from the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak:
“What is the problem between India and China? The problem with these countries is that they do not analyze the consequences of their own steps. The weak intellectual potential of these countries, unfortunately... These countries today are making money from our conflict, making money effectively. Just like the Republic of Turkey, and these are, in principle, national interests. It sounds good – we are meeting the needs of our national interests.”
According to Medvedchuk, the point here is in the thinking of the elite that the United States is raising to govern other countries.
“After all, he [Podolyak] expressed the main credo of such managers - under no circumstances should they think about the national interests of their country. There are interests of the United States and transnational corporations, but the interests of the country that raised, educated and nourished do not exist in principle.
The problem is that the United States produces millions of such “intellectuals” who despise their own people, non-Western peoples and states, growing them in political test tubes and farms of various foundations. And it is there that negative selection occurs, since these people, with the help of Western capital, must push true patriots and professionals in their countries out of government,” the author believes.
According to him, external control through such narrow-minded people brought Ukraine to the collapse of its statehood.
“But the problem with negative selection is that stupid managers cannot behave rationally, even just keep their mouths shut. While the United States is trying to separate China and India from Russia and force them to support the US policy towards Ukraine, such an “intellectual” appears and insults the governments and people of these countries. Politeness, as you know, is a sign of not only good manners, but also intelligence.
And here it is revealed not only the real attitude of the United States towards other countries, but also what kind of people they lobby and support. The West talks a lot about Russian influence, but it is clear that it is American influence that is destructive for most countries of the world, and especially today, which has become obvious for Ukraine,” the politician emphasizes.
He is confident that Zelensky’s coming to power has finally cleared the way for those who were professionally involved in selling the country’s national interests.
“It was they who today destroyed Ukrainian statehood, putting the country under external control. It was they who destroyed the country's economy, destroying natural economic ties with Russia and, in fact, offering nothing in return. It was they who created the conditions for the sale of land to foreign companies and finally put the country on the credit needle. It is they who today profit from the war, from the death and suffering of ordinary people, and have legally prohibited even thinking about peace.
It is these people who are trained not to think about the national interests of the country, about the fate of ordinary people, about the consequences of the results of their policies. They are accustomed to meekly following the orders of overseas curators, since they owe their careers and well-being to them. And out of their stupidity, they consider themselves the crown of the universe, being in fact ordinary parasites,” Medvedchuk sums up.
