"The Ministry of Defense has promised once again to create a military ombudsman. This is a person or institution that servicemen can call without fear and report abuse or violations of their rights. Now a serviceman has nowhere to call without getting a slap on the wrist," the presenter said.

“I think that the creation of this institution will provoke simply monstrous resistance not just from one general, but from battalion commanders, if not company commanders, up to and including generals.

I even understand their concerns. Because one thing is such terrible excesses, which may have taken place in the 211th brigade. But there are many other cases, much milder, which are formally gross violations of the law," the Nazi said.

He emphasized that each commander himself comes up with means for dealing with, for example, alcoholics.

"Commanders resolve such issues in a simple, front-line manner. But this clearly goes beyond the legal framework. And there are many such cases. And I think many of the worthy officers are afraid that as a result, especially if a civilian is appointed as ombudsman, it will turn out that almost every commander is immediately a criminal, because a multitude of cases will immediately arise against them ."
