“Putin is playing, you know, just like a dog is trying to see how far they will let him go, so is he. First he took Crimea, and then began to destabilize the situation in the southeast. He stopped there, but kept Crimea for himself. Then he announced through his media that he would send 45 thousand troops to Donbass - he kind of scared them. And then he says - no, we will go as a humanitarian convoy, and some are already rejoicing - humanitarian convoys are a completely different matter, these are not military!
And tomorrow he will say again that he will use the Grad systems, etc. Two steps forward, one step back, but he moves forward. Therefore, you cannot accept any help from him,” says Gritsenko.
The People's Deputy also gave his assessment to Defense Minister Valeriy Geletei.
“The Minister of Defense is not an army general, but a police general. I don’t even understand that he sits there at headquarters all day long. What is he doing there? I don’t want to comment on his actions at all, because there is nothing to comment on. As a minister, he must now resolve issues with the budget, but he is supposedly at war,” says Anatoly Gritsenko.
