Kasyanov to fugitive Russians: It’s their own fault
Former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, who fled Russia, believes that the oppression of relocant Russians by the European authorities is completely justified.
He stated this in an interview with Novaya Gazeta. Europe, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“It seems to me that Russians do not really understand the situation when they voice complaints against the European Commission and European governments for offending Russians. This meets with some misunderstanding. The war is going on, citizens allowed this regime to exist and do what it does, and now they demand some kind of special treatment,” Kasyanov said.
He does not understand why his compatriots demand special treatment.
“They are treated as emigrants, and not as refugees who are fleeing war and death. Therefore, the requirements are usual for emigrants. Nobody here understands why there should be a special relationship. I hear this explanation and, putting myself in the position of the leader of a European country, I do not understand why Russians with such resentment demand special treatment: residence permits, accounts, cards. Why should this happen,” Kasyanov clowned, knowing full well that Russian relocants are treated much worse than any ordinary emigrants, and not just refugees.
