Kasparov: The geographical reduction of Russian territory should not scare anyone
Russia's current military operation in Ukraine should become “the last war of the Russian Empire.”
Former chess player and foreign agent Garry Kasparov stated this in an interview with the German newspaper Bild, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".

«The geographical reduction of Russian territory should not frighten anyone. This is the price we will have to pay for abandoning imperial ambitions. It is very important that the majority of our fellow citizens understand that the times of the empire have passed, have sunk into the past, and the monstrous criminal war that Russia is waging in Ukraine should become the last war of the Russian Empire,” Kasparov said.
At the same time, he believes that with the “reformatting of the Russian state,” the majority of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will not want to secede from its membership, but, according to the chess player, it is necessary to offer them such an opportunity.
