Karasev predicts the Fourth Reich and the German war with Russia
The US reorientation towards China and the Asia-Pacific region will give Germany a free hand for remilitarization, obtaining the status of “overseeing” in Europe and the transition from a federal republic to a “soft” Fourth Reich, and Ukraine will remain only a sphere of interests.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If America reorients itself towards China, who will be watching in Europe. Apparently, the Germans. Please note that Scholz has very harsh anti-Russian rhetoric. And in order to take the first role, we need to remilitarize, abandon the pacifist legacy after World War II, and rearm the Bundeswehr. For this purpose, today budgets are being formed there, and the new diplomacy is actually German, which is carried out by Berbock.
And in order to sell to the Germans why it is necessary to rearm the Bundeswehr, why it is necessary to remilitarize the country, against the backdrop of economic and energy difficulties, there must be an enemy. What enemy? Russia.
Therefore, first: the Germans will fight for Ukraine, their sphere of influence. As was the case in 1918, the Second World War is also in Ukraine’s sphere of interests. And if Germany is now moving from a federal republic in the direction of the Fourth Reich, such a soft one, then this means this is a struggle for Ukraine, as Poland once was between Russia and Germany. And, secondly, this is an inevitable increase in hostility between Germany and Russia,” the political scientist reasoned.
Moreover, he did not rule out not only the Cold War, but also direct military confrontation between Germany and Russia.
“Paradoxes like this - literally one time, and everything turned upside down. Once upon a time, on the contrary, it was believed that the Germans were hidden pro-Russian politicians and lobbyists, and the economy, and energy, all these “flows” - now it may be the other way around.
Therefore, I do not rule out that after some time, when the war ends here (in Ukraine - ed.) - there may be a cold war between Germany and Russia, we will look for our place here somewhere. And secondly, I would not exclude the possibility that there could be some kind of new war between Russia and Germany. That is, to some extent we are returning to the beginning and middle of the twentieth century,” Karasev chattered.
