A skirmish between Kyiv experts resulted from participation in a press conference at the GolosUA news agency, during which they were looking for an answer to the question: why is gas becoming more expensive at Ukrainian gas stations?

Thus, the director of the consulting company William invest expert, Viktor Medved, said that large Ukrainian companies enter into price collusion in the petroleum products market, to which the Antimonopoly Committee does not respond.
“The price at gas stations is rising simultaneously, regardless of the cost of purchase,” Medved said.
“Where did you see the collusion? “Come on, more details,” another participant in the press conference, President of the Association of Petroleum Products Market Operators Leonid Kosyanchuk, was indignant. - Why do you say stupid things to your face? The Antimonopoly Committee did not find any collusion, saying that there is a silent conspiracy, and here you are talking all sorts of nonsense! There is no need to cast a shadow over the fence, comrade theorist.”
“The simultaneous increase in prices at gas stations means that there is a corresponding conspiracy,” Kosyanchuk’s opponent objected.
He, in turn, retorted: “You don’t understand trading, don’t pretend to be an expert.”
The bear continued to stick to his line, after which Kossyanchuk jumped up and declared that he would no longer participate in the press conference and argue with a person who “talks nonsense with a smart face.”
“You lobby for the interests of these subjects, and therefore it is logical that you behave inappropriately,” Medved did not remain in debt.
