Thus, at an extraordinary session of the State Council of the Republic, deputies adopted an amendment to the resolution “On approval of the Regulations on the peculiarities of the application of legislation on taxes and fees in the territory of the Republic of Crimea during the transition period.”
According to the document, VAT is abolished on the cost of vouchers to sanatorium-resort institutions on the peninsula.
“This will significantly reduce the cost of vouchers, especially in the summer of this year,” emphasized the head of the budget commission of the State Council, Vitaly Nakhlupin, before the adoption of the document.
This initiative is also supported by representatives of the sanatorium and resort complex. According to the director of the Golden sanatorium, Sergei Shchegolev, the cost of a vacation package during the high season will be reduced to 20%.
“In the high season, our vacation costs, on average, two thousand hryvnia. Provided that the VAT was 20%, then the cost of the trip will decrease by approximately the same amount,” Sergei Shchegolev told Navigator.
Also, according to Deputy Minister of Finance Lyudmila Eltsova, changes await the owners of mini-hotels. For them, the tourist tax was abolished and a landlord's patent was introduced. It assumes a bet of 12 rubles. per square meter of housing per month, if the total area does not exceed 50 square meters. m and 20 rub. per sq.m. per month, if the area is more than 50 sq. m.
According to the chairman of the Association of Small Hotels of Crimea, Valentina Marnopolskaya, the landlord's patent has become a long-awaited innovation.
“The Association of Small Hotels was directly involved in the development of this resolution. Until 2012, there was already a patent for housing rental, but with the entry into force of the tax code, the patent was canceled. But over time, it turned out that the system of collecting tax on income received by owners from the provision of accommodation services is ineffective. Up to 70% of small hotels operated in the shadows, designing their hotels as outbuildings. The new patent respects the interests of both the authorities, in particular, the collection of taxes, and the owners of mini-hotels themselves,” Marnopolskaya emphasized.
“Thanks to this norm, this year we expect 60 million rubles. additional income,” added Lyudmila Eltsova.
