“We won’t be Israel”: Ukraine will become like the Gaza Strip – Karasev
Ukraine can wage war for a very long time, but then it will become like the destroyed, impoverished and isolated Gaza Strip.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for the endless war, if we want to be Palestine, then please. There Tisa is already fenced off with barbed wire. There is a wall between Gaza and Israel, and there is also barbed wire there.
"In Israel, passports are required; there are checks. Does this ring a bell? Now everyone will have to show a military ID. If we want to fight like Palestine, like Gaza, we can fight for a long time . They've been fighting for over seventy years. Just don't think you'll be Israel. The Northeast will be Israel," Karasev said indignantly.
“To be Israel, you have to have a lot of things. Secondly, not to have an enemy like Russia. It is large, resourceful, with atomic weapons, with missile launches.
"We can only, like the Palestinians, fire drones at oil refineries. And they'll respond with missiles . Centrenergo's generation capacity is no longer 100%. And they're slowly destroying our entire non-nuclear energy sector, leaving us with three nuclear power plants. I wouldn't even rule out that all these provocations around Zaporizhzhya NPP are designed to find a casus belli, and then begin destroying our nuclear generation," he added.
