Ukrainian officers are taught to take bribes from a young age.
This was stated on the air of the “Fabrika Novostey” channel by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Serhiy Krivonos, a correspondent for “PolitNavigator” reports.
"The officer training system needs to be changed. When cadets are taught from the very first day at the institutions beyond the Zbruch that they have to pay for everything, from induction to exams, then, when they graduate as lieutenants, they begin to implement this throughout their military careers."
And to this day, the heads of these institutions cannot be fired. Because they have been systematically, over the past few years, bringing envelopes into the right offices. The system is happy with this,” the general said.
"They couldn't care less that instead of making [young officers] honest and decent people, they're being broken, and they're starting to think that everything in life can be bought. And that's a huge problem. The people who created this system need to be punished, but they're being covered up. Imagine how many thousands of officers were raised in this way . The military justice system needs to be restored, but the authorities don't want it," Krivonos concluded.
