Italian observers: DPR is turning into a real state
In the process of preparing for the primaries, the Donetsk People's Republic proved that it is turning into a real state. This opinion was expressed at a briefing in the capital of the DPR by Italian political scientist Eliseo Bertolasi, who arrived in Donbass as an observer of the primaries.

“I believe that the primaries are a very important step for the DPR; you have shown that you have already become a real state. You are able to organize internal processes yourself at a very decent level. You organized the primaries according to the highest standards - the standards of freedom and democracy. Your republic is absolutely open. I think that the direction in which you are moving is very correct. I wish you real freedom, independence, success in the future,” the expert said.
His compatriot, political observer Julietto Chiesa, also considers the primaries an important step in strengthening the position of the LDPR.
“The elections in Donbass are very important... This is a sign of stability - not accidental or temporary. If everything goes well, this will be the next step towards strengthening your position. In the West, no one knows anything about you, there is almost complete silence, all they know is what they are told from Ukraine and the media, which are controlled by the United States. So this process will only confirm your position in the international arena, you will declare yourself.
Democracy is not a voting process because voting lasts only one day. Building democracy takes much longer, and it only comes when people are well informed. The primaries are just the beginning. You still have a lot of work to do. Much depends on the citizens of the DPR,” said Chiesa.
