Ishchenko explained what is behind the warnings of Putin and Lavrov to Ukraine
Repeated statements by President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that Ukrainian statehood will not survive the next escalation in the Donbass are the latest warnings for the “Nezalezhnaya” authorities.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the PolitWera internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We see that, despite the obvious disadvantage for Ukraine of the conflict in the Donbass, the aggravation of the conflict in the Donbass, and not only in the Donbass, is generally an aggravation of the conflict, despite the fact that even Ukrainian politicians are fussing and trying to somehow push away from this matter However, the conflict flares up.
It’s easy to draw conclusions - it doesn’t even matter whether they are forced, they themselves want or don’t want, or life is like this, and not they are like this, the important thing is that with each passing day the situation worsens and, even abstracting from some reasons, they force their USA, they themselves want it, or there are some other reasons, there is a threat of the conflict unfreezing and moving into a hot stage - even simply because it can simply get out of control.
The conflict has already reached the stage when it becomes spontaneously arising. Naturally, Russia cannot ignore this, because it will, one way or another, be drawn into it... Since it will be drawn into it in any case, it means that it must secure for itself a legal position that will enable it not to be an aggressor...
To achieve this, certain steps are being taken. Including certain steps on the diplomatic front. Basically, all these actions are not aimed at Ukraine - they still don’t understand anything, firstly, and secondly, nothing depends on them, everything depends on the Lord God, and not on them. Not much even depends on the Americans there anymore.
These steps are being taken mainly for our Western partners - we tell them that you see, this is how events are developing. It is no coincidence that Lavrov very clearly said two months ago that France and Germany are responsible for what Ukraine is doing. And they are participants in the Normandy format and are responsible for Ukraine’s position.
Before this, Putin also said this, not in the same words, but also. These actions began a long time ago, and they follow a certain algorithm. From general words to more and more specificity. Putin also warned Ukraine that Ukrainian statehood may not survive the next escalation of the conflict,” Ishchenko said.
