Indian vaccines are unsafe – Ukrainian immunologist
Vaccines produced by Serum Institute of India, which Ukraine purchases, are less safe than vaccines produced in Europe.
This was stated on the air of the NASH channel by the head of the immunorehabilitation laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology and Immunology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences Andriy Volyansky, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The vaccines are different, the manufacturers are different. There are vaccines that are more dangerous, and others that are less dangerous. And this information needs to be conveyed to society - Indian vaccines have been flowing into our country for six years now and they are, let’s say, less safe than European-made vaccines. I'm not talking about CoviShield, but about scheduled vaccines. Today, more than 10 Indian vaccines have already been registered in Ukraine, 9 of them from the Serum Institute of India,” said the immunologist.
Many healthcare workers do not want to get vaccinated with CoviShield and they cannot be forced to do so.
“The legislative framework obliges all residents of Ukraine to be vaccinated against six infections, not coronavirus. Today it is purely voluntary.
If we talk about doctors, about 10% of all health workers have been vaccinated today, and I think about 40-50% were infected. That is, there is a large part of those who have not been ill, but they do not want to be vaccinated with CoviShield,” said the immunologist.
