Indian arrogance has evaporated – they are already ready to overpay for Russian oil.
US President Donald Trump has radically changed the situation on the global oil market and "gave Russia a breath of financial air."
The director of the National Energy Security Fund, Konstantin Simonov, announced this on the air of the radio station "Moscow Speaks," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"When the sanctions came into effect on November 21, Indian refineries said, ' Oh, guys, we're ready to buy your oil, but at a steep discount.' Not all Russian companies were willing to agree to such impudence ," Simonov said.
As a result, about 200 tankers carrying 400 million barrels of Russian oil were stuck at sea for some time.
"Now the situation has completely reversed. Now Indian refineries are trying to persuade our oil producers to sell them oil . They're even willing to pay a little extra for it," Simonov said.
