Some ultra-patriots in Russia are preparing a new model for the 1917 coup.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Den TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Sivkov, they are trying to seize control of the patriotic part of society, dissatisfied with the course of the Northern Military District.
“This team expects that, speaking from the position of ultra-patriotism, patriotism in quotes, and de facto political adventurism, they will be able to seize control over the front-line soldiers and over the public that supports them, their families. And the mass of these people is quite large. That is, if we take 300 thousand mobilized, 286 thousand volunteers, plus add the personnel of the Armed Forces, add DPR and LPR fighters who are also fighting there in considerable numbers, add their family members, add friends and relatives, we will get a figure of several million people.
On the one hand, there is a process underway, controlled by the president, of gradually wearing out the enemy followed by his decisive defeat, on the other hand, there is a process of preparing a new model for the February coup of 1917,” Sivkov pressed.
