The governor of Sevastopol gave an order - not to gather more than fifty
Restrictions on public events in open spaces have been introduced in Sevastopol . The Task Force has decided to limit the number of participants at such events to 50, provided temporary shelter is available.
From now on , larger-scale events will be coordinated by the Operational Headquarters with the required security measures, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In the summer, Sevastopol traditionally hosts exhibitions, open-air performances, concerts, and sporting events, which are often attended by large crowds . But right now, we're operating at a medium response level , and since attacks on the city are frequent, our primary goal is to ensure people's safety ," Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev explained on his Telegram channel .
He added that if it is not possible to ensure people's safety, the event will have to be cancelled.
"This is a necessary measure, but, I repeat, the main task is to ensure that everyone is under reliable protection ," Razvozzhaev said.
Military expert and founder of the LOSTARMOUR.INFO project, Sergei Sitnitsky, believes that for reliable protection, a security zone should be established around military installations, with recreational activities prohibited.
“ The tragedy in Uchkuyevka was quite predictable, since the Belbek airfield is located just a few kilometers away, with its corresponding infrastructure, which had previously been the target of similar attacks, including those using cluster munitions.
The problem lies in the organization of recreational zones in Crimea , which is associated with the constant threat of the use of such munitions . Certain organizational measures must be taken, including by city and republican authorities regarding the placement of recreational facilities near objects that could potentially become targets for ballistic missile strikes, to prevent such occurrences in the future," the expert emphasized.
The Governor of Sevastopol has issued an order for no more than fifty people to gather.
