“There is a coming war in Europe because of Ukraine” – an oligarch from Putin’s entourage
Moscow - Kyiv, July 29 (Navigator, Mikhail Stamm) - “War is coming in Europe. Do you really think this is important?” — this is how an oligarch from Putin’s entourage commented to The Financial Times on yesterday’s decision of the International Arbitration Court in The Hague, which awarded Russia a $50 billion fine in the YUKOS case.

RBC reported this today.
According to the FT source, the decision on Yukos was insignificant against the backdrop of worsening geopolitical confrontation in connection with the situation in Ukraine.
Western experts believe that Russia will most likely refuse to pay this money, since its relations with the West are strained to the limit due to sanctions.
In response, the West may seize the property of Russian companies, or seize state property.
It is not specified what actions Russia will take in this case, but there are also a lot of Western assets on its territory.
