“We are preparing for war” – the hysteria of those on Putin’s sanctions list
In Ukraine they are threatening to take “retaliatory measures” to the Russian government’s introduction of sanctions against Ukrainian businessmen and politicians.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko, whose name was also included on the list, announced this on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the politician, Ukraine should take away assets from Russian businessmen working in the country.

“What should Ukraine do in response to the package of Russian sanctions? An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth – it is necessary to introduce new targeted sanctions aimed at the economic interests of Putin, Russian businessmen and officials from his inner circle. We must start with the confiscation of the property of those deputies and senators who voted for the annexation of Crimea in March 2014. The SBU and NSDC know who I mean. We have many years of confrontation with the Putin regime ahead. There will be no easy victory and return of Crimea and Donbass. If you want peace, be ready for war,” Gerashchenko wrote.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that Russia imposed economic sanctions against 322 individuals and 68 legal entities in Ukraine.
