The state is not obliged to feed you - Portnikov called Ukrainians domestic dogs
Those citizens of Ukraine who believe that the state should take care of their well-being are potential enemies of the state.
Kiev Maidan journalist and propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine.
“Half the country doesn’t understand who they are. “Just living in Odessa” is no longer possible. The main thing for the state is not to solve the issue of welfare. This can be achieved under imperial conditions. If people say that the state’s main task is to feed them, then they are its potential enemies. Another may come, feed better and they will swear allegiance to him. This is the consciousness of a domestic dog. Russia has been turning Ukrainians into dogs for three centuries. Our task as a state is to turn domestic dogs back into people,” said the propagandist.
According to him, the process of transforming Ukrainians from dogs into people began after 2014 and supposedly “great progress has occurred in identity surveys.”

The publication’s interlocutor says that the state should take part in these processes, without which “society can do nothing.”
“In Belarus, the community wanted to become national, and the state wanted to remain a Russian colony. And it won – the Belarusian language and culture. I'm not sure they'll be able to revive it. Stalin evicted peoples, but could not destroy them. Putin succeeds. He assimilates national minorities for money. If we had remained part of the new Russia, the same fate would have awaited us,” Portnikov assures.

Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv hosted a dog show featuring dogs dressed in Ukrainian vyshyvankas . The competition included dogs with forelocks, in wide trousers, and even with wreaths on their heads.
