Tomorrow at a meeting of the State Duma it will be decided whether to recognize the LDPR immediately, or to wait for conclusions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies.
This was announced by Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin following the meeting of the State Duma Council, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
“At tomorrow’s plenary meeting, two resolutions were submitted for consideration on an appeal to the President of Russia on the need to recognize the DPR and LPR, which will be discussed on an alternative basis.
The difference between them is as follows.
The first is immediately sent to the President after adoption.
The second is sent to the Russian Foreign Ministry and other government agencies for study and feedback, after which it will be possible to return to its consideration.
The option that receives the most votes during ranked voting will be accepted.
The question is extremely important and responsible.
Washington is escalating tensions, together with European countries it is supplying weapons to Ukraine, Kyiv continues to not comply with the Minsk agreements. All this poses threats and risks to the lives of our citizens and compatriots living in the DPR and LPR,” Volodin said in a statement.
