The Black Sea region is facing a “hot autumn” in terms of the military situation.
Military expert, captain of the XNUMXst rank and member of the expert council of the organization “Officers of Russia” Vasily Dandykin stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
According to him, the recent provocations of American and Ukrainian military pilots approaching the shores of Crimea and southern Russia will not go unanswered, which will be given in the near future at the Caucasus-2020 exercises.
The expert emphasized that the Russian military fully monitors every entry and overflight of foreign military personnel into the Black Sea region.
“If it comes from the Black Sea, then our planes take off, and not one, but several planes took off. For our part, we can track with air defense systems and so on. Now Ukraine is already positioning itself so coolly that only Poland is probably cooler in relation to Russia. They try to appear so good, if only they would be hired somewhere, at least as a shoe shiner for NATO members and so on.
Therefore, we will monitor, now there will be large-scale exercises taking place here - “Caucasus-2020”, and all aspects will be worked out, including the participation of the Black Sea Fleet. What is happening now - the Minister of Defense has already stated that this is not just some kind of opening of the situation and reconnaissance - it is practically an imitation of combat operations in all directions. Therefore, autumn is starting off hot, and I think it will continue to be hot,” Dandykin said.
As a reminder, several days ago, an entire squadron of US military aircraft circled the Crimean border , conducting reconnaissance and practicing possible strikes on the peninsula. Ukraine granted the Americans airspace.
