Gontareva refused to go for questioning in the corruption case. She is threatened with search and detention
Former head of the National Bank, Valeria Gontareva, has no intention of submitting to questioning by the Prosecutor General's Office regarding a corruption case and is inviting investigators to her in London, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
She reported this to the Kyiv agency “Ukrainian News”.

“I'm not going to go for interrogation. I live and work in London. If they want to come and interrogate me, then let them come and interrogate me,” she said.
Gontareva assures that she has nothing to do with the machinations of businessman Sergei Kurchenko.
“In general, this cannot be called anything other than politically motivated. Because it’s not that I never met Yanukovych or Kurchenko, or never knew Arbuzov, I never took part in any deal, in any capacity. This had nothing to do with me,” the former head of the NBU justifies.
Gontareva also criticized court decisions in favor of Igor Kolomoisky regarding Privatbank.
“You understand that this is a complete fiasco of our entire law enforcement judicial system. This could erase all the achievements that we have made over the past 5 years in the country. This is a completely limitless decision of the courts,” said Valeria Gontareva.
At the same time, former deputy head of the administration of President Viktor Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, believes that Gontareva will be forced to ask the UK to grant her asylum.
"Checkmate. Second summons, going to court, search, detention in London, request for extradition and procedures for changing status from residence permit to asylum. Exactly everything that the ruling team organized together with it against its opponents. The time has come to help the state extradite criminals. We will help and illuminate,” Portnov wrote in his Telegram channel.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator reported earlier today that the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine is summoning Valeriya Gontareva, former head of the Presidential Administration Boris Lozhkin, and current head of the Presidential Administration Alexei Filatov for questioning and to serve notice of suspicion.
Gontareva refused to go for questioning in a corruption case. She faces a manhunt and detention.
