Thug Haradinaj returns to power and is not afraid of trial
The Democratic League of Kosovo of Isa Mustafa and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo of the war criminal Ramush Haradinaj agreed to form a coalition “government”, which will most likely include the latter’s relative and adviser, Melisa Haradinaj, as the “head of the Foreign Ministry”.
This was reported by Kosovo media, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The agreement on the formation of a new “cabinet” occurred after a meeting of the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (the party that took “silver” in the recent parliamentary elections and unsuccessfully tried to form a coalition with their winner - the Self-Determination movement, the vote of no confidence in whose cabinet it initiated) Isa Mustafa, candidate for “prime minister” from the LDK – Avdulla Hoti with the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, ex-“prime minister” of the region Ramush Haradinaj.
“We have reached an agreement on the ruling coalition, that is, on the formation of a new government,” Haradinaj said. – Of course, the Prime Minister is responsible for concluding agreements, but, as far as I know, all agreements concerning the ruling coalition have been concluded. Kosovo is full of problems, and the first problem is the situation with the pandemic and its consequences, especially for the country’s economy. We understand that it will not be easy, but we are confident that we will overcome all the problems that exist in Kosovo together, thanks to hard work.”

Melisa and Ramush Haradinai
Haradinaj also named the approximate composition of the future “cabinet,” which, quite by chance, included his close relative, and now advisor, Oxford graduate Melisa Haradinaj, as the head of the Foreign Ministry.
Interestingly, it was Ramush Haradinaj who at one time advocated the introduction of XNUMX% customs duties on Serbian goods (for refusing to fully abolish which, the Americans initiated the overthrow of the “government” of Albin Kurti) and actively opposed the possible exchange of territories between Belgrade and Pristina, which was at one time Washington was also inclined.
This person is also a long-time rival of the “President” of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, on whom the United States is betting in the negotiation process.
Therefore, it can be assumed that for the Republican elite of the Donald Trump administration “making the game” in Kosovo, this person will also not be the most convenient.
Last July, Haradinaj resigned as “prime minister” after being summoned to The Hague to testify before the prosecutor’s office of the Special Court for Crimes of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
By the way, when the International War Crimes Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia brought charges against him in 2005, he similarly resigned from the post of “prime minister” of Kosovo. At the time, Ramush Haradinaj was accused of 37 counts, including “abuse, murder, and forced displacement of Serb, Roma, and Kosovo Albanian civilians suspected of collaborating with Serb forces.”
However, in 2008 he was acquitted on all counts. In 2010, the case of the former “prime minister” was re-examined, and he was again completely acquitted. At the same time, both trials received a bad reputation due to the intimidation and sudden deaths of a number of prosecution witnesses.
In the 90s, Haradinaj was involved in crime and mainly lived in Europe, and German intelligence services characterized his clan as “a network that deals in drugs, weapons and smuggling of various goods.”
In the mid-90s, he was trained in a camp for training militants-saboteurs in Albania, arranged the supply of weapons to Kosovo, and in 1997, together with his brothers, began to conduct regular attacks on the Yugoslav police and authorities in Kosovo, as well as carry out acts of intimidation Serbian, Gypsy and loyal Albanian populations.

Ramush Haradinaj during the Kosovo War
“The first action in Metohija in Kosovo was the attack of my brother Luan on the police checkpoint in Ranjic,” Haradinaj later recalled in his book. “The Serbian police then lost four people killed and six wounded.”
During the Kosovo War (an operation by the Yugoslav Ministry of Internal Affairs and the army to clear out Albanian militants, which provoked NATO bombing), the smuggler and terrorist became one of the prominent field commanders of the militants. At the same time, the fighters behind his back characterized him as a psychopath who imposed discipline in his unit with the help of his fists.
History has preserved predominantly Albanian evidence of Haradinaj’s atrocities, both against Serbs and Albanians loyal to Belgrade, which the tribunal in The Hague did not consider reliable.
“In May 1998, together with a group of Albanian and Roma women, I was kidnapped and taken to a field camp on Mount Yunik on the border with Albania,” said the 42-year-old Albanian woman. “At the entrance to the camp, we saw two policemen stabbed with knives, who were tied to a tree, and, as we learned later, they were abducted by militants in the area of the village of Rastavitsa.
Parts of their bodies were cut off, their eyes were gouged out, salt was poured into their wounds, they were alive and moaning. Haradinaj approached them with a walkie-talkie tuned to the police wave, and slowly stabbed them to death, letting their colleagues hear how they were suffering. Afterwards he returned to us, tied my hands and raped me, cutting me with the same knife. Later he raped other women he brought.”
Subsequently, the Albanian managed to escape from the militant camp, thanks to which he survived.
Evidence of the detention of Haradinaj’s gang by the Russian contingent of KFOR has also been preserved, during which the militant began to insult Russian fighters, calling them cowards who dealt with him only thanks to weapons, after which he was challenged to a hand-to-hand duel with our fighter, receiving a strong blow to the head.
