Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Semchenko, known for his criticism of the Kyiv regime, managed to leave Ukraine and is now in a safe place. With the beginning of the SVO, the expert began to comment on the situation contrary to the official agenda and soon disappeared from the information space.
Now Semchenko spoke in his video blog, where he told what was happening all this time, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He immediately emphasized that he would not comment on his location and details of his escape from Ukraine for security reasons, but he shared tips on how to survive in the realities of the lawlessness of the Zelensky regime.
“Control your environment – what, where, when you speak. Even with a reliable person, at the market, on public transport, do not discuss any controversial topics, a store, a stop - nothing that can hit you, because you can be overheard.
Now in Ukraine, snitching is very common, there are a lot of applications with which you can snitch on the SBU, the police, without straining at all, in a minute you will still be in the field of view of the snitch, and already a group will come after you. Therefore, when you are in any public place where you are not in control of your surroundings, speak very restrainedly. Only on patriotic topics, or the weather.
The main task is to merge with the environment, not to be more patriotic. Although sometimes this can happen. I made one purchase, talked with the seller, he spoke Russian, I told him [in Ukrainian]: “Why are you talking like that in Russian, we have such a situation” /
He began to make excuses that, being Russian-speaking, yes, he had to switch. Maybe he considered me a complete, completely stubborn moron, but it’s better to be considered stubborn morons than to end up in the dungeon of Zelensky’s killer sect.

He recalled some details of the reigning chaos in Ukraine in the first months of the Northern Military District.
“When my parents’ house was robbed, a woman’s bra was stolen, a used one at that. And I watch how the effeminate creature in the “video marathon” is indignant: “How is it that Russian mercenaries stole bras.” I'm thinking, well, damn, bitch, can you find who robbed my house? There, “patriots” robbed, “true heroes, our boys” robbed, so ask how a worn bra was “gifted” to your “lady”, what will you do with it there.
There were panties, socks, and really, the toilet was not stolen, but it was so dirty that it was impossible to break through it. They stole my father’s tools, a drill, a welding machine, and took everything away. Two cars, mine and my father’s, and there was also a stranger’s car parked there,” the expert recalled
At the same time, he added that it makes no sense to call the police in such cases - “we are aware, but we won’t come, they don’t come to rob a house.” The political scientist noted that fascist laws are being adopted in Ukraine, but even they are not implemented. However, he paid special attention to the SBU.
“The abbreviation SBU is a pack of bandits and murderers. What did they not do? I don’t know information about all the people they searched while looking for me, but the information that I have is not how law enforcement officers act,” Semchenko emphasized.
The political scientist refused to answer questions about where he was hiding and how he managed to cross the border, explaining that he could frame the people who helped him, but he commented on the thesis about “normal Ukrainians.” Semchenko told how ordinary residents helped him, despite the risk and lawlessness of the SBU, as evidenced even by official news, to which everyone has access.
“In Ukraine, I was in almost all regions, mostly in the west, but also in the east. There are many normal Ukrainians left on the territory of Ukraine. If there were few or none of them, then my odyssey through Ukraine would have ended when it began, in early March. When you live with a stranger who has never known you for a week, a week and a half, and he takes risks,” the expert added.
He gave several memorable examples of repressions carried out by the SBU.
“For example, how in Kharkov the SBU “exposed” a Ukrainian who was hiding a Russian tanker. And he was charged with treason, and by that time they had already drawn a page for this article.
