Herald Turchinov declared victory over Putin
Russia will be forced to retreat from Donbass, just as the USSR was forced to withdraw from Afghanistan. Yuri Butusov, editor-in-chief of the Censor.net portal, controlled by Security Council Secretary Alexander Turchinov, writes about this on the pages of the Zerkalo Nedeli newspaper.
He calls for “building a strategy of action based on the absence of a threat of Russian invasion into other regions of Ukraine.”
“The mobilization resources of the Russian Federation for the war in Donbass are much smaller than the Ukrainian ones. The enemy simply has no one to make up for the losses - during the battles near Debaltsevo, the enemy threw everyone into battle as infantry, including valuable military specialists,” Butusov assures.

“Our victories are specific enemy strongholds and units that must be destroyed on the line of contact. We can achieve success in war not through a global offensive, but through local successes. Now we do not need a war for control of territory, now we need a war to destroy illegal armed groups that violate the terms of the ceasefire in the demilitarized zone. A war of attrition must be mutual. Russia's resources are great in general, but Russia's resources for a local war in Donbass are limited. The USSR left Afghanistan, and Russia will leave the occupied territories if the Kremlin suffers diplomatic, economic, information and combat losses on all fronts and every day. Putin lost the battle for Ukraine, and now the next frontier to be surrendered by the Kremlin is Donbass,” the publication says.
