The hypothetical return of Donbass to Ukraine will destroy the information monopoly of the current government. Sociologist Evgeny Kopatko stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“The information space is blurring. The first time it was broken was when Saakashvili appeared with an alternative point of view. With the return of Donbass, there will be new opportunities for propaganda and agitation. The monopoly on information will fall. People with diametrically opposed views on the political process will come in,” Kopatko said.
He believes that the destruction of the information monopoly will influence the political situation in Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This wave will reach Odessa and Kharkov. And there is also Transcarpathia and Chernivtsi. Everything will be very shaky. Previously, the West voted more actively than the East. Now there will be total mobilization. There is a huge demand for this. An alternative point of view is not heard in Ukraine. This flow can destroy a lot of things,” Kopatko said.
According to him, the “Opposition Bloc” and the “Party of Life” are already winning in the south and east of the country. Yulia Tymoshenko now has a one and a half times advantage over Petro Poroshenko in the second round.
