Germany will sooner or later transfer Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine.
The former head of the Nativ intelligence agency, Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with the Israeli YouTube channel Waldman-LINE, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If events develop the way they have developed until today, at some point they will transfer. Russia’s task is to ensure that Germany has no one to transfer these missiles to,” Kedmi said.
In his opinion, German missiles pose a great danger.
“The rocket itself is very good. Even though it has about the same data as Storm Shadow, it is much more accurate. Unlike British and French missiles, it can be launched not only from aircraft, but also from ground-based platforms. For example, from containers on a truck. Containers can also be installed on ships and boats.
That is, the launch sites for these missiles are more diverse and dangerous. They are more difficult to reach than British missiles. And lastly, they fly to the target at a low altitude, they are difficult to identify, fix, or shoot down. It’s possible, but much more difficult,” Kedmi said.
