General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine threatens to strike the largest oil refinery in Russia
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already allegedly struck a third of the oil refineries operating in Russia and are planning to reach the largest, located beyond the Urals, in Western Siberia, the Omsk Oil Refinery.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine and former Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Sergei Krivonos, announced this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“12 oil refineries are partially or completely out of order, you need to understand that Russia now has 36 operating plants. Another 8 are under repair and 32 are under construction. In total, the amount is more than 70 oil refineries, but 36 are active. We disabled 12, that is, a third were removed. Of course, each of them differs from each other in the years of construction and, most importantly, in the ability to produce products in quantity.
Their most powerful plant is the Omsk plant. It is the steepest and largest, and the quality of fuel there is quite good. And we’ll get there too – I’m more than sure of that,” Krivonos grimaced.
