Ukraine is significantly inferior to Russia in drones - many drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are becoming useless due to powerful Russian electronic warfare, and the Russian Federation itself has begun to produce many times more different types of UAVs.
This was stated by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General Serhiy Krivonos, on the air of a video blog broadcast by the former spokesman of the Right Sector, Boryslav Bereza, which is banned in Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"We see that the vast number of drones arriving at the front often fail to perform their missions because Russian electronic warfare is powerful, and Russian drones are even more powerful in terms of their ability to counter Ukrainian electronic warfare . It's not just a question of quantity, but of quality and flexibility. Unfortunately, in certain situations, I see and clearly know that these processes are being hindered by a powerful bureaucratic machine and the unprofessionalism and incompetence of certain individuals," the general said.
"The situation on the front is quite complex. For example, the day before yesterday, the Russians used, officially confirmed, over 1200 drones in 24 hours—both FPV and Lancet. This is a significant figure. Let's remember, six months ago it was 200, 150, then this number started to grow, and now it's growing quite rapidly. Their industry is focused on massive, continuous production of these products ," Krivonos stated.
