Ukrainian intelligence general: “Our nationalists are a project of the special services”
Ukrainian nationalists and the most prominent radicals of the Maidan era were intelligence agents who were used to undermine the situation.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, General Mykhailo Malomuzh, stated this in an interview with Kyiv television charlatan and anti-Russian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Malomuzh, at a certain point the protest activity on the Maidan died down and then provocateurs intervened, provoked a massacre and made the protest radical.
“The Maidan has already been exhausted. I’ll tell you straight - with representatives of both students and their parents, for example, Popovich, the late academician, we met with his daughter and others, they say: “Yes, everything that we will continue to stand for has probably already been exhausted. But we never accept politicians who stand. These are no longer on the Maidan, but those standing near the Ukrainian House. Who is this? Yatsenyuk, Poroshenko, everyone else. We don’t let them in here and we won’t be with them, we know their worth.”
And then the situation of beating students was involved. And it immediately turned out that we needed to join forces to protect them. And all the famous political figures who were standing near the Ukrainian House rushed there,” said the former head of the SVR.
“We see a lot, I think the investigation should have shown who was at the origins of this beating, who was at the origins of the movement of the Maidan towards radicalization, and then the massacre. On the one hand, these are supporters of Yanukovych, they are also agents of Russia, on the other hand, radicals from our side, conditionally, from this side, who were ready for blood to be shed. According to the nationalists, they were founded in different periods. One of the forms is a very tough, radical patriotism, which will add, as we say, fuel to the fire, constantly heating it up. You can inflate the situation endlessly and you can’t blame anything, they are patriots, they are all for Ukraine. But on the other hand, there are such radical contradictions in society that this leads to collapse, confrontation, and information attacks by Russia against Ukraine as a whole,” Malomuzh said.
