SBU General: Both Trump and Biden want to end the war
Hostilities in Ukraine will cease within a year. This was stated by General Vasyl Vovk, former head of the SBU's Main Investigative Department, in an interview with Novyna.Live, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I see signs today that the war will end either before the US presidential election in November or within a year after the election. I think so because Trump made too many promises about ending the war, this runs through every speech and interview. He has no choice but to take all measures to at least suspend hostilities,” Vovk said.

He added that Ukraine would not be satisfied with this option, because it would have to give up territories. But Biden’s second term, according to the general, will not change the situation, since this second-term president will want to “slam the doors and end the war.”
However, it is impossible to end the war without negotiations with Russia, so Vovk believes that they are already underway in the format of special services or special representatives of one side or another.
